I LOVE SPRING! I don’t know about you, but I’m so ready for Spring! We’ve had some lovely Spring-like weather here in Iowa for the past week. I’m so grateful for it. Today I took time to go outside and just sit and enjoy the beautiful sunny sky (not a cloud in sight), the slight breeze in the air, and listen to the happy songs the birds are singing.
As was mentioned in last month’s email, we announced that we would be vending at several rubber stamp/scrapbooking/paper arts conventions this year. The first one is coming up soon! Rockford, Illinois - March 4th and 5th at the Cliffbreakers Riverside Hotel & Convention Center. We will also be participating in the Friday night Make ‘N Take on March 3rd (Sold Out). We hope to see some of you on Friday night, and if not then, on Saturday and/or Sunday! For more information visit: http://www.stampscraparttour.com/rockford-il/

I just wanted to share that while I’ve been creating make ‘n takes for our upcoming conventions, I was playing with our Aqua Foil and GEO-Dies. The Aqua foil is different from all of our other foils, in that it is a “true” foil - no plastic layer inside like the others. It’s aqua on one side, silver on the other. It is delicate. To make the GEO-Die’s and backers that are shown below, I Xyron’d computer printer paper, then adhered it to the back of the foil. Then I ran that through my machine to cut the dies. I think it’s just beautiful! I also think the possibilities are unlimited just using a GEO-Backer - I loved how the edge of the foil gets smoothed out.
This is our GEO-Die #10 and companion GEO-Backer #10.
Check out those smoothed edges! Just think of the possibilities of what you could do with this…..
I should mention, what we have in stock of this Aqua foil, is all we will ever have. The distributor quit carrying it, and we bought all they had. So, when it’s gone, it’s gone forever…. If you love it like me, you might want to get it while you can.
